Anthony Stewart may have mixed feelings about facing Coventry on Tuesday (assuming that he keeps his place) as I seem to recall that it was his injury in December last year which prevented him making the challenge in the box which might have prevented one of Coventry’s three goals - they won 3-2. I am not 100% sure of the facts because I thought it was the third goal that resulted indirectly from Stewart’s injury and I see now that their third goal was a penalty and that it was some time after Stewart was forced off. Someone may be able to tell me if there is any accuracy at all in my memory of Stewart’s involvement.

Great to see him back, by the way.
The second goal went in as Stewart injured himself. Their winner was a penalty given away by O'Nien that was extremely soft (a dive basically) because I don't think the Cov player was even touched. And their first goal in that game was a complete fluke from 40 yards.
Thanks for that @WanderingDays. You have confirmed what my faltering memory was telling me! Anthony Stewart himself more or less did so back in January when John Taylor (ex-players association) brought him round the Woodland Lounge on one of the regular “meet the players” visits. The general feeling seems to have been that Coventry’s victory was more than a little fortuitous. I like to think that Anthony Stewart and the whole squad feel that there is a score to settle. I don’t doubt that they will be well and truly up for it on Tuesday whilst at the same time having that niggle at the back of my mind about bogey teams.
