  • @Malone are you referring to our former Gibraltar international?

There is no harm whatsoever in speculating that Saunders may be on good money but if it is speculation that is all it is. As I have outlined above, it is perfectly possible to credibly speculate that he may not be.

it appears however that you are claiming not to be speculating but passing on confirmed information that has inappropriately been leaked to you. If that is the case, neither the leak or your post is vaguely acceptable.

I have no idea what Akinfenwa earns (although in his unique case there may be financial spin offs from the attention he brings). Certainly at the start of the season, I would have regarded him as vital to the team and arguably the first use of whatever budget we have available. Hindsight has shown that is perhaps not the case.

  • If Reece Styche and Sam Saunders share something scandalous, it's a man bun.

  • @Wendoverman , the very same.
Must have the worst ever ratio of fouls against versus goals scored in our league days.

Ignoring some of the cant but remaining on the subject Eric brings up:

In the real world, there will always need to be provision made in a viable business for wastage, whether it be broken jars at Tescos or players finding themselves unavailable to play at Wycombe Wanderers, whether for sporting reasons (like injury) or otherwise. Of course, a good business will do what it can to reduce this wastage so Tesco try to minimise the number of broken jars and Wycombe build the best spirit they can, train their players as well as they can to minimise injury risk and recruit carefully so as to keep as many players as possible available.

Even assuming the situation with Sam is as suggested, one such scenario in the past x years hardly screams business inefficiency, I think.

  • Can all players deemed surplus to requirements but still under contract now simply be referred to as 'broken jars'?

  • @HCblue don't come round these parts with your reasonable assessments of the situation.

Only the ones that have thrown themselves off the shelf. The others are simply past their best before date.

  • What about smashed eggs though @HCblue?
