What a beautiful playing surface at Kingsmeadow yesterday

And to think they have both the Wombles and Kingstonians continually playing on it.
It just goes to reinforce my opinion that once you allow rugby to be played on your pitch,
you will have to accept a very substandard playing surface.
Hopefully nest season we can have a similar surface to the one at Kingsmeadow, regardless of what division that the Wanderers will be displaying their talents.

    Really. I thought it had a high bounce and a good few bobbles on it. The amount of watering done before the match and at half time helped a bit. It was streets ahead of our pitch but not that great.

    One aside on that was the pre match watering. Anyone else notice how the grounds staff manage to set it up to sprinkle the away support and douse the away dug out before moving in pitch so the same thing didn't occur for the home fans. Sure he smiled when he did it but what a calculating weasel of a man.
