Plymouth at home. Want to be the reason why nearly the 2nd best manager at Pilgrims gets the tin tack. This quote is priceless. "If you're nearly the second-most successful manger of the football club ever, fifth longest-serving, you do deserve a lot more respect than people are giving," the 43-year-old added. (from the BBC website today)
I'm going to be unromantic, but having seen the comment in the Trust update yesterday about cash flow at end of Oct and Nov being "tight", I think we really need a helping hand from the gods tonight. So, either a very winnable game, or one that's a cert for tv (preferably both!). Also worth noting that the prize money has doubled this year, so it's £36k for a win in R1 and £54k for R2.
@Blue_since_1990@Jonny_King and a three part documentary about the build-up, the game and the aftermath. 'ooo 'd ave thought when we 'ad no grass on the pitch and were 24 hours from closure that one day we'd make it ta Wycombe fer a cup game'
I apologise to my manc friends. Maine Road was at the end of our street when I was a stooodunt. I've been down in the south far too long now...my Little Midlander genes are now under a heavy blanket of Thames Valley/Cockney.

@Blue_since_1990 My apologies, I just became one of those awful people who explains other's jokes for them.
Not a problem @Jonny_King. @Wendoverman has certainly nailed it.
@Jonny_King @Blue_since_1990 @Wendoverman is conveying a Manchester accent

So these potential investors. What are these geezers like...?
Proof that there is no god.
Crap draw at a crap ground
That's just rubbish in so many ways
Absolute dogshit, although away maybe better than home at least?
Good luck romanticising that @oilysailor
