However I can't find any trace of the official attendance ...

Yep - Congratulations and respect to @BlueBoy only 4 away with 4020. Most excellent predicting.
Honourable mentions for: @mooneyman - just 20 short with 4004; @Shev just 36 short with 3988 - with a special mention because the 3998 was made up of 3764 for the home crowd which was just 30 short of the actual total of 3794 and the prediction for the away crowd at 224 was just six short of the actual 230.
Continuing the honourable mentions - @DJWYC14 was only out by 46 with 4070 for the total and for @Manboobs whose in the nick of time prediction of 4096 was well inside the one hundred, only 72 away with 4096, also first equal closest to the away crowd - six over the top with 236.
The crowd was a bit smaller than we collectively thought it would be, notably for the away crowd as @Shev was the only one of us to predict below the actual number, all the rest of us thought that more of them would make the journey.
We all had our money's worth, I miss the "Opposition View" from Vital - I wonder if they thought they did.

I am working (slowly) on the Tour de Season sheets, it will be ten best of everybody's predictions at the end of the season which will count.
