Tough trip next week to the land of the jellied eel. Great to see that, perhaps against my expectations, GA has managed to make us a competitive Lg1 team, but maybe this is a step too far. 1-2 defeat.

Seemed like decent enough justification for my own prediction though my heart wants to go for an away win. Memories of flying over from Oslo without a ticket and having been turned away from the home end, standing outside the train station baying “spare ticket please, anyone with an extra ticket please?”. Eternal gratitude for the fellow Wanderer who did have one, and the rest is history!
Think they will just about have the measure of us but grit and determination will get us a point. Interesting commentary to the Arsenal win today was that it is important to pick up points whilst still experimenting with personnel and formation. I agree with the poster on here who reckoned that we might do better than anyone has predicted this season...
Having said that perhaps I should hedge my bets with a 3-1 defeat. Let’s hope that is also gamblers’ fallacy Dr.
