Rehabilitation blog, latest edition
Not football related but I know a few on here have followed my adventures and it does have WWFC related connotations so here goes …
I have recently published the latest edition to my rehabilitation blog following my health and fitness drive - http://peterjemmett.blogspot.com/2018/06/the-year-that-was-part-44-falling-heart.html
This is turning out to be another success story all which originally stemmed from cardiac rehab. and the WWSET FFIT course, both which I attended last year.
Since publishing the latest blog Friday afternoon it has received 163 page views, better than I expected plus I have received some really positive feedback, mainly from heart patients, which makes writing it all so worthwhile. Overall the whole blog has had 4053 page views.
I wrote the blog in the first place in the hope that it might offer help, encouragement or inspiration to others who have suffered a heart attack or anything similar and I have had several comments that it has achieved just that, one even from a jogger as he was passing me on the parkrun!
Please do share my blog with anyone who you think might benefit from it - https://peterjemmett.blogspot.com/

By the way ...
Like last year, my daughter Katie and I are again raising money for Hearts & Souls who support cardiac rehabilitation here in South Bucks.
This is a local charity that has my full support having benefited first hand from the service they provide in both 2013 and 2017. We shall be joining the group again this time for a 5 mile walk from the Spade Oak around the Chiltern hills and Thames path. I know 5 miles may not sound a lot but this is so much more about raising funds for what I consider a worthwhile cause rather than some personal challenge, I'm already doing plenty of them.
Any donation however great or small will be gratefully received.
