All teams drop points against lower table teams. Especially so in this league where anyone can beat everyone. Our USP is without doubt Bayo - he is one of the main reason we sit third in the table.
At this stage of the season bottom teams and those close to it are desperate, those close to promotion are anxious. Desperation will often trump anxiety. What we want now are teams who are finishing mid table and know it.
To further derail this thread - I agree with @Manboobs.
I just looked at the table and only Stevenage are reasonably certain to fall into the resigned to mid table category out of the teams in our last 7 fixtures.
I thought Yeovil might be relaxed as they have games in hand but then I looked at their run in: Forest Green at home and Coventry away over Easter, then Luton at home, Swindon away on the Tuesday, us at their place, Accrington away on the Tuesday, Notts County away, Mansfield at home and finally Lincoln away on the last day.
That set of fixtures could suggest anxiety followed by desperation. Lets us hope they catch desperation early and take points from Coventry and Luton.
I had the same thought a couple of days ago about our future opponents. Only Stevenage seem likely to have nothing to play for. Based on last Saturday against Port Vale, we could be in for some pretty doughty and physical matches. I was kind of hoping for a reassuring 4-1 win or two in the next few games against teams phoning it in. I fear I may be out of luck.

File Holloway under the ever growing pile labelled Gifted Waster.
If you are looking for a physical presence to replace the irreplaceable Josh Umera did himself no harm
I thought for some time that he had the potential to succeed Bayo but his ankle operation and subsequent lengthy lay-off denied him the chance to build on an encouraging start (2 goals from 6 appearances, including 3 or 4 from the bench). On such limited evidence it might be difficult to justify trying to sign him when his contract at Charlton expires in the summer and, for all I know, Charlton may be planning to offer him a new contract. But I for one would love to see him come back, even if initially only on loan.

Nathan Jones might jump ship when the Hatters lose in the play-off final. Heaven forfend !
Jones and Hylton leading Wycombe into a new golden dawn. Imagine how glorious it'd be.
Some massive footballing brains would shed a tiny tear of happiness at least.

I have nothing against Chesterfield, but I hope they are either relegated or safe by the time we play them at their place!
Yup it's the games we 'should win' that are going to decide our fate I think.

Agreed. Day off for them, promotion party for us (do I wish!)

Checking up on Holloway's Wiki record, he has 9 league goals at the age of 25. 6 of those were for us. 1 league goal this season for Oldham.
That's a pretty dreadful record.
This entire thread is mental. And slightly disturbing
He might be a late developer but I can’t see many league clubs wanting to pay him to find out.
Difficult to develop when you have an inate attitude problem.
