The management website makes no mention of a contract. It simply says he "joined" us which he unequivocally did, assuming he was the young man we saw pre-season and once or twice before games early-season. But that's not necessarily the same as being contracted to us.

The link provided by @PBo suggests he's only played in cup games for them. The more you find out the less clear it becomes.

I'd imagine for a club the size of Canvey Island. Maybe he's with us during the week and travels down for cup games. who knows!
