Almost heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains
Shenandoah River,
Life is old there
Older than the trees
Younger than the mountains
Blowin' like the breeze
Desborough Road, take me home
To the place I belong
Back to Staples, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
All my memories gathered 'round her
Miner's lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine
Teardrops in my eye
What is your muse this afternoon, @LX1?Wish I had access. Your post at 3.18 was somewhat lacking, though.
PS Love your username. So much easier to type than some with their underscoring etc.
LX named a pub in the original post - he presumably then decided against. If its the pub I recall from walking Hadrians Wall its a good one, so the bearded sandalled CAMRA fraternity may not be so keen to share it

I know 3 people going and they're hammered already. Useless
I'm going today.... 2 nights stay and home Wednesday... ill be in no state to do a report ha
My optimism is fading fast...
Sadly I will also be in Carlisle rather to early
Let Dev do it
It will take too long to read if Dev does it!
I'm going but I am already hammered in a hurricane shelter. An ostrich may be your best bet
There must be one or two going who aren't boozehounds, insane or part of the drone army surely...
What about Mr Bean?
It wasn't looking promising but I'm delighted to say we now have a volunteer!
First ever rat-arsed @Vital match report surely?
If you believe that @peterparrotface I really worry about you!
@bookertease I've never read one but always assumed they were pretty straight laced
To be fair mostly they aren’t bad
I’m on my third Stella before setting off in the morning. Should we convene an AA meeting at Brunton Park?

Sounds onimous !

10% if you say you are a CAMRA member. Another 5 for sandals. 5 for beards
