The creeping shadow of 3G pitches
I am not a fan, but look how many clubs in non league are switching in the latest list.
I am 100% against 3G pitches in football. The game no matter what anyone tries to justify is different. Football should always be played on a natural surface, grass. I am so against it in fact i would probably give up.
Couple of articles for you take in.

You are so against it you chose your moniker in their honour?
Not bad
I've always wondered which 3 games you missed...
Me too. Will you share, @M3G ?
Lol well it was one of our "enlightened" younger fans back in 1995 who decided to tell me I was not a real fan as I had missed 3 games on the trot, despite the fact that I had just done 8 years without missing any games! I missed Oxford home and a further few after during that season.
I am sure the decision is about cost and upkeep. I agree with what you say about grass but with clubs struggling to keep afloat its a fairly big cost out of the way once you have a pitch laid. The game at our end of the leagues and below is being starved of cash so the decision s a financial one mainly.
what about desso grass are you against that too that isn't 100 percent pure grass .
Unlike the pure stuff trevor smokes
Everyone's against Desso. Expensive, crap and usually means a rugby club in the vicinity.
well i don't see a problem with cost cutting where the experts at that so i agree with 3g much cheaper option in the long run .
It's also cheaper for players to wear no kit or boots. Are you in favour of the too @trevor?
no where you in favour of our youth system being shut or not
I'll level with you. I've no idea what that last post means.
well your not in favour of 3g pitches it seems that save alot of money which would benefit our club considering where always skint apparently .
Which is cheaper? 3g or 1oz?
One eight ball.
How do you work that out? I've said nothing about being for or against 3G pitches.
