FA Trophy Final - Today!

Just browsing the BBC website and seen the FA Trophy final is on today. What? Why? I always thought this was an end of season showpiece for non-league so what on earth are they doing holding it before Easter? Or am I missing something?

    @bookertease Its how they powers that be have ruined football, its almost meaningless now rather than a show-piece occasion to close the season. The Play-offs are all anybody is interested in. Shameful.

    Sadly the Trophy, like so many cup competitions, has been cheapened - the bigger clubs now field weakened teams as they chase the promotion dream. Tragic.

    It was a great game. Watched it on BT Sport. North Ferriby won on pens after 3-3 draw. Wrexham were 2-0 up with 20 mins to go. Great advert for the NL game.
