Wendoverman, that's fine as long as the Alex don't score 6! Just kidding, I'm sure that we'll look much better now we've got the cup hangover/wobble out of the way.
You've rather lost me there @Cyclops!
Probably time to stop previewing the Crewe game. Anyway, it was definitely Al Read as my fellow geriatrics will confirm. I don't know Robin Bailey but I take it he was pretty dour.
Robin Bailey was a posh actor who late in life took on the role of dour Northern misery Uncle Mort in I Didn't Know You Cared on the BBC in the 80s (?) adapted from a series of books written by Peter Tinniswood. I salute @Cyclops but also @micra as Al Read was also a comedy legend.

As the 5 -1 was the only home game I've missed this season...I insist on at least another 5 wycombe goals in the away fixture...

I say you'll be looky I say you'll be looky.
Who said that all those years ago?
@micra Was it Geat Uncle Mort?
Not unless Al Read played Uncle Mort.
"Right monkey" was his other catchphrase.
@micra No, it was Robin Bailey. I can't stand enthusiasm.
