I assume this must mean he's coming to us - surely he wouldn't leave the 'Wall without something lined up, and what else would be lined up for an injured player?
If I understand it correctly, this leaves Paris out of contract, and therefore we (or anyone else, for that matter) are not tied to the transfer deadline, and can negotiate around the injury situation without a ticking clock. I would hope that we are looking after Paris's injury in there same way as we did with Max's.
In a way I feel bad for Millwall- they paid a transfer fee and wages yet garnered no significant gain from PCH. His subsequent resigning for us on a free must be a kick in the teeth.
Gareth's assessment is that he is a "...hugely important member of the squad..." (taken from the WWFC web-site) and I think I'd be inclined to trust his judgement rather than yours.
@rmjlondon I think woeful is a bit strong but he's not been at his best; might it not be that the uncertainty over his future was affecting his performance?
Overheard in Gaz's office: Sorry richie...I know you were right about Sam Saunders and I know you've already teased the Gasroom with your secret news, but I'm going for Paris over the player from Southampton on loan...

But isn't this rather a weird way to do it?
That's him signing for us then surely.
Free agent now, doesn't need to sign today. No doubt millwall will have paid enough of his contract that he won't be out of pocket.
According to a text message posted on facebook 15 mins ago, Paris has signed.

pierre on the bench so I'd think he's staying?
Word is that Pierre has his own fax machine installed on the bench.
Paris can now just sit back and wait for offers to come in and selectbtge best wage/signing on fee. He is in the box seat!
PCH didn't sit and wait too long.
His heart has always been at Adams Park.
Are we sure he didn't sign for Southampton first?
poor old Richie
Ruth Cowan Hall
lol at @Chris
My none Chairboys mate calls him Parish Village Hall
I like that.
I should point out that is just a twitter post from a journalist and not confirmed.
Good tip though as it turns out

Consider it compensation for the damage their fans did to the toilets in the away end a few years back.
My dad calls him Paris Town Hall!
For what it is worth I just call him Paris.
no sure why we wanted to sign him, has been woeful in the last few weeks.

@rmjlondon - A bit worrying if Gareth is ignoring your advice now!
