Tomorrow - now I know how Weegie felt in 2001
Feel my pain. Last August I booked this weekend for me, my wife and two daughters to fly to Sweden to see Green Day in Malmo tomorrow night - flights, hotels, and tickets for the gig. We travel out tonight. Yes, I did check the fixture list - and was relaxed about missing Col U away.
My heart sank when I realised about a week before Christmas that a win v Stourbridge would mean potentially missing a huge FA Cup tie in the 4th Round. We all sat watching the 4th Round draw praying for a dull but winnable tie - Accy Stanley would have been perfect thanks very much. But, oh, no.
For the week after the draw I was desperately hoping the game would be moved to either the late TV game on Sunday or Monday night. Since these hopes were dashed I have been going through hell as the game has got closer and closer, knowing I would be absent from WHL.
I have at least made sure that the four tickets our two season tickets enabled me to buy have gone to good homes - all to non STH friends who have been regularly this season and who would not have had a chance of getting tickets in the general sale lottery on Wednesday.
There's a ray of hope that I might at least be able to watch the game live on TV in Malmo. The game is being broadcast on Viasat Fotboll, a Swedish station that specialises in English football. Problem is having checked the websites of sports bars in Malmo they all seem to be showing a bloody IEK Gothenburg friendly or Chelsea v Brentford. One has, however, replied to my plea via email saying they will "do their best to show the Spurs game"...if not I will be listening to @bluntphil on Player for one of his brilliant commentaries.
So to everybody going tomorrow, have a brilliant day out and if a miracle happens, there will be a small party of Chairboys/girls in Malmo going mental too.

Colchester game should of been priority
Although I sincerely hope you catch the match, and we will sing for you and every other absent choirboy, here's to the 5th round and your attendance at Old Trafford
I've got the other side of the coin; if we win against Tottenham it will be bitter sweet for me because I am away on holiday for the fifth round!
The reason why I hardly ever book holiday trips during the season, up to and including play-off final weekend, unless they are in connection with attending an away match that is unlikely to be moved, such as the August league fixtures against Blackpool this season and Morecambe last.
@Wellesbourne75 ... aggghhhhh, gutted for you!
At least you can commiserate with lots of that really cheap Scandinavian beer, oh, hold on...
I'll be away for the quarter final. I'll have to hope for a draw so that I can be back for the replay.
@wellsbourne75 Have a great time in Sweden, See you back for the Pompey match. You other wellesbourne friends will be cheering for you
@drcongo I have bad news for you...

Dammit.
I fly out on holiday on 27th May so I'm going to miss the FA Cup final and the League 2 playoff final which are both that weekend.
First world problems! Pity me, watching the match from Fidel Murphys in the Cayman Islands!
Always a pain. Sometimes it can't be avoided, I missed the Leicester quarter final because it coincided with a French exchange trip that had been booked and paid for before the season even started!
@Wellesbourne75 Can fully sympathise. Funnily enough, I was in Malmo with work for the 2015 Playoff Final. Tried to get out of it to no effect. Watched the game on some weird channel (possibly the one you mentioned) in the hotel bar. When we scored I think I rather upset some of the locals who were all transfixed by the Eurovision Song Contest on the other screen!
