Sheridan's Rant
Notts Co now claiming that it was the rant that they fired him for (not the run of defeats).
Not sure I believe them (not least because the rant may give them an excuse for summary dismissal and hence no compensation) but really couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. Bet Dean Morgan is having a little chuckle to himself.

Walked straight into another job though didn't he? Although it's Oldham, who have shown themselves to have absolutely zero morals with their past recruitment. Although let's not get back into that one.
Shocking read though, especially as some of his ourtraged abuse was over their man's horrific 2 footed lunge!
It's the refs down the park under real risk of physical attack that are the real vulnerables. At least the real officials have protection, refs down the park have nothing.
Read about Graham Poll with some of his past anecdotes. Horrific ones about one "Non league" manager saying he hoped he had a car crash and died on the way home. Interestingly he didn't name that manager, but dropped a big name Man Utd player in. He was an arrogant ref for sure, but noone deserves death type comments! It's only football!
