I got the impression that he impressed Gareth as a player more than because of which foot is his stronger.
By all accounts he's been hard at work getting back to fitness, hopefully he grab this chance with both hands.
@rmjlondon There is no need to apologise for your opinion that Sido is a fine right back, I happen to agree with you on this.
Regardless of what you thought of Stewarts previous outings at RB, I simply stated that he was excellent against Blackpool. It was a Blackpool side that contained six players that started the league game against WW back in August, so not quite their reserves. Either way, Stewart defended very well and provided a good attacking outlet, especially in the second half. RB is a specialist position and I expect a fully fit Sido or Harriman to always get the nod there.
Anthony Stewart has been superb at CB this season. Defensively resolute and his overall game has come on leaps and bounds in my opinion. It has been a joy to watch a player progress and start fulfilling their obvious potential. Credit to him and the coaching staff.
I got the impression that Sido was struggling a little against Stourbridge - repeatedly flexing his legs - and that may have been the reason why he sat out the Blackpool game.
There may be a case for Stewart to continue at right back tomorrow if only to give Müller another opportunity to gain match fitness.

I haven't seen Anthony play at right back more than twice from memory. On both occasions imo he played very well. I wouldn't be fearful if he was selected to play there again tomorrow and Muller alongside Pierre if it meant Sido getting a longer rest to recover if he has an issue.
Stewart has been excellent at CB but is quite a good ball player going forward so RB is not out of the question...good to have an option. Sido gets caught sometimes.
Was as Blackpool game (counted less than 30),
yeah Stewart was probably MoM but some things were luckily coming off for him and
not as comfortable in the position like Sido
Muller played Left center back though right-footed and can see why the Gaffer rates him.
Seems to have all the right attributes just lacking experience at moment.

I don't think Phil said anything about Jombati. Jombati will be playing I'm sure, for one thing Stewart has a job to do in the middle.
we have just signed a player on an 18 month deal, is he just going to play in the cup we could now go out of ???
No, he will most likely play centre half when Pierre inevitably leaves.
Is Muller left footed ???
No he has two feet
funny, I was wondering if we are so desperate to keep him cos he is left sided to replace Aaron.

Do we think he is ahead of De Haviland in the CB queue?
Yes @Bledlow_Blue when he is fully fit.

yes but isn't quick on the turn by any means.

Did anyone else mention Weston's performance?
