  • @brittanywanderer Nedeleg Laouen to you (I admit I looked it up)

  • .... na bloavezh mat' just finish off the felicitation

  • Nadolig llawen if you're from South Wales, or feliz navidad as they say in Honduras.

  • Nollaig Chridheil from a Scotsman.

  • Frohliche Weihnacht if your Max Muller (or German at all at all - which reminds me that the gaelic is something like Nollag Shona Dhuit.

  • @micra "... if you're Max Muller..." since you like a bit of pedantry. Merry Christmas old chap.

  • And his surname is Müller: not Muller.

    Fröhliche Weihnachten!

  • Ah, yes. But I have no idea how to do an umlaut on my keyboard.

  • .... and for those who like a wee bit of Double Dutch - vrolijk kerstfeest, vrolijk kerstfeest.

  • Merry bloody Christmas to you all*
*(excluding Essex and also North Bucks if a Franchise supporter as the Christmas spirit can only extend so far)

  • God Jul! (Pronounced goo' yule)

Hold down the ALT key and type a number on the number pad as follows (while holding the ALT key down). When you release the ALT key, you will have the following character:

    ALT 0223 = ß
    ALT 0228 = ä
    ALT 0246 = ö
    ALT 0252 = ü
    ALT 0196 = Ä
    ALT 0214 = Ö
    ALT 0220 = Ü

  • Many thanks @wformation . Will have to jot down some of those numbers (and probably mislay them pretty quickly!)

  • Agreed; many thanks @wformation - how on Earth do you know all that?
