Kashkay, O'Neon and a Substitute Referee

Don't know who the commentator was on the iPlayer highlights of the Leyton Orient match but I was surprised to hear Scott Kashket's surname being pronounced Kashkay (as in French) and Luke O'Nien as O'Neon. The commentator also persisted in referring to the referee as Rob Lewis in the second half even though Mr Lewis had succumbed to an injury at half time and had been replaced by Alan Young, the fourth official.
To be fair, the commentator may be correct with his pronunciation of Kashket but we've all been rhyming it with get, haven't we?

Comments

  • I never even noticed the change of referee at the match..they were both terrible.
Are the commentators on the highlights actually commentating live from the ground, or is the commentary added later ?

  • I think the commentary gets added in a dark cellar of the EFL or FA. The same guy is always saying Luke's name wrong.
