Christmas Quiz
I am sure this used to be a tradition.
Anyway feel free to jump in with questions or answers. I'll start off.
Which players have played for Wycombe AND won European Club Cup Winners medals (eg Europa league, champions league, cup-winners cup , Uefa cup etc)? I can think of three but may be more?

Kenny Swain?
Oh yes. European cup 81/82
But not one of your three? Buggered if I can think of any more.
No one of the three. At least two to go.
Danny Wallace. This is fun.
Or I'm not fun. I'm not sure.
David Lloyd Wallace (no Daniel in his name) won a cup winners cup medal with Man U. He played one spectacularly ineffective game for wwfc, but was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a year later. Unknown to him he probably had early MS at the time of his wwfc appearance.
One more which I won't confirm until the morning, a to keep the suspense going and b cos I'm off to bed
Michael Duberry
There are four!!!!
I had successfully blanked Mr D from my memory banks. Mr Twizz not quite so lucky sadly but worth it now. Cup winners cup winner.
Ray Wilkins, god I'm wracking my brain on this...
Jamal Blackman!
Neil Lennon
Sorry he didn't win
Lennon didn't win one, nor did Wilkins.
But congrats to Mr quarter, yes the last known member of our tribe with a winners medal is indeed Mr Blackman. In the 23 with Chelsea - that gets you a medal.
Shall we move on to premier league (and predecessors) winners medals? Go on then you can have Scottish too.
I'll kick this part off with Guppy for Celtic
Yep played 16 games to earn his medal.
Ray Wilkins for Rangers
Anthony Grant for Chelsea
Yes to Wilkins - Scottish only - surprisingly never won in England.
No to grant - nowhere near enough games - you actually have to play to win these ones.
Kenny Swain again
Rab Douglas?
Douglas played for Celtic. Of course.
Swain tick.
Only one more English one I can think off
Gary Ablett for Liverpool
Good one Alan
Make that two more English!
Still one to go.
Ablett , like Wallace, sadly suffered with serious illness at a young age. He died in his 40s.
John McLelland signed for us but strangely never played for us. Why?
The ever moving quiz answers are fun to watch. What ever happened to never ask a question you don't know the answer to or is that too close to lawyer talk again.
Can't think of any answers to add
@Right_in_the_Middle - Don't you ever ask a question because you don't know the answer?
Not a quiz question but you're right in more general questioning
Glad this thread is giving all some fun, even Righty in his own special way.
One more English league medal to find, no idea on Scottish - what do you think I am - an encyclo-fecking-pedia?
I'll give a clue a bit later if needed.
