Just bought my ticket. Asked how many had been sold and was told around 40.
Will practice sharpening the voice.
Somewhat different from14th August 1993.
I must admit I will not be one of the 40 or so, so well done them.
You wouldn't buy a ticket in advance for this one would you?
If it's not cheaper to buy before, why on earth would you buy before?
Not everyone buys a ticket in advance. Expect 3 times that amount. Lancs, Yorkshire, Scottish, Cumbria and Durham blues will be out in force as usual.
a lot of the angry yoof crowd will be there too. Otherwise their stock "were you at Carlisle" cry is lost.
@m3g Don't forget Greater Manchester and Derbyshire too.
@railwaysteve I bought my ticket this afternoon, too. It seemed sensible, on this occasion, to pay now because the price increases by £3 if bought on Saturday. Looking forward to the trip. See you there!
@Malone I'd rather lose on 3 quid than the ticket price now if I end up not going
I imagine 147 will make the trip.
And what will the score be......... 0-0?
First game I've missed this season (super fan alert) so no doubt will be an unbelievable game and 3 points! Safe trip to all going.
