American Fan Needing Favor

Hi everybody,
I'm an American fan who got into the team through football manager 2011. I would really like an Akinfenwa jersey with the authentic EFL lettering, but unfortunately that lettering is only available in person at the club shop. Can anybody help me get this jersey and send it to me? I will pay extra to make it worth your while.

Thanks and sorry if this isn't where I should post this.

  • Where are you in the US? I'm in Mass and will be going back at the end of January for c*lu away so could probably pick one up for you then.

  • Failing the offer from Ozzie for any reason, I'd be happy to purchase it and send it to you if you PayPal me the cost plus P & P.

  • glad people are helping, but surely a quick email/call to the club would be the safest and easiest way to sort this out?

  • Whereabouts in the US are you? I should be back in Wycombe over Christmas and would be happy to pick one up for you...

There speaks a man who has never emailed the club.

  • If the gentleman/lady sends an email to [email protected] that should do the trick.
    Fingers crossed as always!

  • Mea culpa! Have just spotted the 'in person' reference in @forboyd's post. Hope that doesn't mean he's already made contact by 'phone or email and been given that answer. Extremely disappointing if so.

  • Thanks for the help, everyone. I've emailed the club shop and will see how that goes.

  • As in you can't order from oneills with the wanted format.

but a personal enquiry to the club should easily sort it

  • Maybe sending something to the club's official twitter feed (@wwfcofficial) could get the wheels in motion. I'm sure the club won't say no to a promo shot of the famous quarters in America!

  • Think of the Twitter engagement figures!

  • I've been spreading the word of the light dark blue army stateside for years, there are several young men and a couple of young ladies (nephews, nieces and family friends) that sport the quarters when they play soccer at school. I have the fixture list on the wall in my office and hold Monday morning post mortems watching clips on the player.

    The chairboys are awesome y'all!

  • Nice one, Ozzie. And there's me thinking you were down under (if you'll pardon the expression.)

  • Downley not down under.....

  • Downley USA? I'm confused now. Your office is stateside?

  • I live in the US but am Downley born and bred.....Wycombe til I die.

Mission whilst here is to spread the word of the light dark blue army.

    PS. We8c*lu

  • Gotcha @Ozzie_the_Relaxed ! Thanks for that.
