Scrappy game, with a fair result. We shaded most of the game; but they created more pressure from corners. Tough conditions with swirling, blustery strong winds and on and off rain.
Generally a lot of hard work with little result. Pierre and Stewart as imperious at the back as ever, and if we still have them both in September I'd be surprised if we weren't top half at Christmas. Bean had a good game, a couple of inspired flashes from Akinfenwa and Freeman looked positive if quiet at times. Good keeping and distribution from Blackman.
A hard won point away at a decent side, and some very unfair booing at the end.

We have a difficult run of games coming now so seeing Hayes back is encouraging. Thought Freeman did ok, Bean was fairly solid and Southwell bags of energy. Stewart and Pierre different class at the back.

If not then expecting Freeman to play narrow must be part of GA's master plan to wreck the confidence of every wide player in the club.
How does Thompson get picked over other strikers? Seems the only way he'll miss a game is through injury.
