If we take 3 points from the next 2 games - surely not unreasonable...
And then if we win3, draw 3 and lose 3 of the remaining 9 games - average 1.33 points per game, again surely not unreasonable, that's another 12 points...
that takes us to 79 points, and with a goal difference which should not be materially worse than we have now.
That means that for us to be overtaken one of the other clubs would have to get 80 points. Realistically that's only Southend Luton or Bury and they would need to get 21 or 22 points out of 33. I'm not sure any of them are really showing that kind of form.
Pointless but mildly diverting exercise.

That is certainly a possibility
I have said before that I think 80 pts will prevent any of the chasing pack finishing above us.
