Weegie. Just got back from my hols. Read the book, loved every page. I was fortunate enough to be at the games (except Grimsby away) with my son. Great vivid memories bought back to life. Need to find out what my nickname was as I always attended with Billy Connolly.
Cheers @Fit2drop. On the nicknames, I've heard that 'Pisser' has now been adopted as the official name of choice by his family.
Just glad mine wasnt little wa**er. (although it may have been behind my back)
Oh no, that was to his face... I didn't know his real name for a long time.
I've heard that most of you have been good this year... @ChasHarps aside... so hopefully Santa will be dropping a copy down your chimney. But just in case, you've still time to order a copy (or several) here... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Small-Town-Dreams-travel-football/dp/1532718756/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1467543916&sr=1-1
That's reminded me @Weegie "Christmas present to self" :-)
@EwanHoosaami ... we all deserve at least one of those!
Any Wycombe fan that has not read this, put it on your Christmas list. NOW.
the kindle/ebook version of the book* is currently available for FREE on Amazon ... offer lasts until Thursday (when the World Cup starts, when there’ll be no need for books for a month).
Free, did I mention free?
*I’m talking about Small Town Dreams, not Bayo’s autobiography, sorry.
