Bookies now starting to come to a consensus on next season.

At the top they have Pompey clear favourites (possibly due to name) with Donny, Luton, Orient, Cambridge, Plymouth, Carlisle and Col U making up the top eight.

At the bottom Newport, Morecambe, Crawley, Stevenage, Yeovil, Barnet , Hartlepool and Exeter fancied to struggle.

Blackpool, Notts C, Cheltenham, Grimsby, Mansfield, Accy and Crewe along with us (although one optimistic bookie has us sixth favourite to come top) fancied to hang around midtablish.

I fancy Blackpool, Mansfield and Crawley to do a little better than expected. Us 9th to 16th, I'd take that.

    I looked at the odds this morning: nothing particularly surprising, other than I don't really understand why some bookies have Luton second-favourite for promotion. Luton weren't up to much last season and I would not expect them to be much better this.

    @Uncle_T Didn't Luton finish quite strongly after they sacked Still and brought in the new guy?
