Had a nice chat with Matt Ingram down at the gym yesterday
He seems like a really nice bloke . The whole squad train at my local gym on a couple of afternoons a week . He acknowledged Saturdays game was a tough one and thought Southend were difficult to play against as they liked to "hoof the ball" .He Said playing against a side like this makes it very difficult to play good football and not fall into their way of playing ...Stevenage was another team he accused of laying this way but went on to say League 2 in general can be frustrating as a lot of teams play this way . I asked him if they were confident of promotion and he confirmed that it was in their hands and that not getting there is not worth thinking about . I know a none of these thoughts are breaking news but it was nice to hear it from one of the players directly . I wished him well for Saturday and said we would all be behind them !
