During May one significant event in WWFC history has happened for I believe only the third time and another for what I believe is the first time ever. Possibly will not detain you long but suggestions please.
Is it to do with ex players?
Kortney Hause winning the Toulon tournament with the u-21s and Tom Heaton being named in the England squad for the euro's?
Third time we've finished in the bottom half of League 2?
Tom Heaton is relevant yes. I wasn't thinking of your answer Chris although it may well be true.
First ex player to make an England squad for a major tournament then?
Correct Eric, (as far as I can tell) - quite a landmark really.
Last week he also became I believe just the third ex-player to play for England.
I suspect it will not be too long before either Hause and/or Ibe increase the tally.
Simon Church is in the Wales squad, that might have something to do with it.
Martin O'Neill managing Ireland?
Edit - too late and also wrong!
Next month will also see the first time an ex Wycombe manager takes charge of a team at a major tournament
On the numerical theme, seven was also a record for WWFC this month??
No takers for this - I'll start a new thread in case missed
Ibe can't get in the Liverpool team so doubt he'll be playing for England any time soon
