Well done also to Hungerford Town, just down the road from me. Promoted to the Conference South. Another great achievement for a small club.
Very poor ground when St Martin got his hands on his first piece of Silverware in 1990.
Surely they must have improved the facilities to gain entry into the Conf Sth.
I don't think there was cover behind the north end goal in 1990, which there appears to be now having looked on Google satellite view. Pretty sure it was much more open back then. Not sure if the stand/cover on the east side was there either. I only recall the tiny stand on the west side. I would have thought it was pushing it for the new level. I remember thinking that Wolverton's ground (for the '87 final) had been better. Certainly more interesting!
Must admit I hadn't realised they had been promoted. That is a great achievement.

Not sure that it's much different Chas, think that it's just the two very small stands, with most of the ground still uncovered.
