Sad to see the great footballing master has passed away. Watching him play for Holland in the 74 World Cup is possibly my earliest footballing memory.

A truly magical player. As @MindlessDrugHoover mentioned, the 74 World Cup, (far from my earliest memory, 66 for me), was lit up by that Dutch side with Cruyff being the star on top of that magical Christmas tree.
I'm stunned I spent my youth trying and failing to perform a Cruyff turn sad sad day
