Football League Tonight on channel 5 (warning)

Just a warning that they have now split this show into two separate programmes.

1) The Championship Football League Tonight @9.00pm

2) Goal Rush Football League Tonight @10.00pm

Anyone who has the old Football League Tonight on Sky+ (series link) might miss the second programme (which covers Lg1 & Lg2) unless they record it separately.

    An interesting concept to split into two separate programmes. I really can't see the point, but will be interesting to see the separate viewing figures. I just wonder if this isn't the first step on the pathway to dumping the lower 2 leagues? Thanks for the tip off.

    Hopefully it's to give them more viewing time instead off the 12-18seconds like normal

    The term 'goal rush' suggests they will bang out the clips as fast as possible.

    The first hour of FLT was just The Championship anyway,just means i can watch something else until 10PM without missing any League 1 goals.

    Properly splitting the programmes up does suggest they will meddle further, putting an official priority on the championship one and maybe messing ours around every so often
