Depressing scenes re. Gray, obviously shutting the youth team was done for the right reasons but there's also the counter-argument given that we were actually doing pretty well at players fit for either our first team or a higher level. But we are where we are.
Lots to be proud and happy about at Wycombe in the last three years but the big shadow over the club is the lack of a youth system. It has to be part of the long term future of the club and those first steps to getting it back have to happen soon.
We had Gray in on trial during pre-season and he made an even smaller impact than McGinn. Looks like he had a good game today, wonder how long he can keep it up though.
