Whilst good to have advance notice, what if one of those three called up should be suspended for the game against us having been sent off the previous game, or are injured and don't make the international appearance.
In such a scenario WWFC and its fans are the losers having their game postponed and having to potentially face a stronger team in the rearranged fixture.
Surely the final decision on the game should be made the week before the match with supporters of both teams knowing that there is the potential for a postponement.
I was thinking chauffeur driven limousines to make up for the lack of public transport on a Tuesday night.
Maybe thrown in one of the white horse girls in the back seat as a hostess.
It would be nice of the club to do this surely.
As we now have no game on that day, perhaps as a sign of goodwill the club could arrange a free luxury coach day out to the seaside for all season ticket holders together with a fish and chip lunch.
I thought all the poxy internationals were done for this year so just who do these top class League 2 players play for? Is there a Gibraltar v Andorra friendly or something.
There's always someone who benefits. My son got himself a Saturday job a couple of weeks after I'd bought his season ticket this year. As far as he is concerned the more games get moved to a Tuesday the better :-)

It's call ups for Northern Ireland (I didn't realise Roy Carroll was NCFC's no. 1), Togo and N. Ireland U21s.
Can anyone provide a link to where the names of the players who have been called up is available, please. Neither Wycombe's nor County's website announcements name the players. I know Roy Carroll plays regularly for County and the Togo player, Amevor, has been in County's matchday squad recently, but who is the third player?
Rhys Sharpe, who has played for Northern Ireland U21 previously, does not appear to be included in the U21 squad listed on the FAI website for the forthcoming games, which does not include any Notts County player. If it is Sharpe that has been called up and is the third player that has triggered the postponement, then the jusitifcation for postponement would seem rather questionable, given that he seems only to have played once for County this season and hasn't been in the squad for the last several matches.
County's Elliott Hewitt may have been called up for the Wales U21 squad, in which case that would trigger the three-player postponement option, but I've not been able to track down a squad list and don't think he was included in the last one.
I know that, with the Leeds United friendly now arranged, which should bring in a few bob, the Notts County postponement may even prove to be net positive for the club's finances, but it's still nagging me whether Notts County really have had three players called up for internationals or if they have bent/broken the rules in getting the match postponed.
I haven't been able to track down on the internet evidence that three (or more) Notts County players have been called up as squad members for the forthcoming full or age-group internationals. Notts County have declined/refused to tell me the names of the three players that are claimed to have been called up.
Can anyone out there put my mind to rest and tell me which Notts County players have indeed been called up to perform international service in the next week or so?
If you do find out that they're breaking the rules, keep it quiet until after next weekend and then contact the FA. Hey presto a nice juicy points deduction for Notts County and I'd imagine a claim for compensation from us.
Having said that, surely the FA/league must be informed of the players that the club believe are eligible and therefore ratify the postponement? They can't be that incompetent to allow Notts County to name someone who isn't in an international squad can they...?

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
Maybe the Club could offer some sort of discount for fans who had already bought tickets

Or perhaps we should all go and pay 15 to sit in an empty stadium a gesture of solidarity as so many games are getting moved from
Saturdays?
Come on wouldn't it be great if we had internationals in our team!!
We do, Mr Pierre!
Presumably no compensation for Wycombe for the inevitably lower midweek attendance in the rearranged fixture.
phew. Thank god they didn't fritter away that Halifax TV money then.
So 2 more home games before Christmas. Really not helping the coffers.
Just hope the club don't reschedule for another dreaded Saturday/Tuesday home double.
What about a friendly at Adams Park with a Premier League team that may like a fixture for their non-international players?
Of course there is a fair chance of one or two home Cup games

There is a full international break coming up
@FrijidPink why are Internationals poxy again?

At least the notice is good this time

That's another Tuesday night I can strike off my season ticket. I'll see that as an extra contribution to the Trust!
