Glyn Creaser takes over at Aylesbury United

Ex-Wanderer and centre-half legend Glyn Creaser is the new manager of Aylesbury United. He was appointed last week. The homeless Ducks have also changed their ground-sharing arrangements this season. For several years they'd shared with Leighton Buzzard Town since losing their Buckingham Road ground but have now moved in at the ASM Stadium, home of Thame United. A sensible move as their search for a new ground goes on.

  • Glyn Creaser...one of our best ever defenders!

  • Good luck Glyn

  • Ouch - lost 2-6 at home yesterday. Lovely ground at Thame, but for some reason, it has all gone pear shaped this time round.

  • I'm certain that aylesbury United won't be around in 10 years time , the clubs got a dwindling fan base m. They have not got a penny to their name and now reading the forum they have it seems majority fans don't want creaser in the job. From what I heard creaser was pretty much all that applied for the job. Aylesbury folk seem to not want them back in the town so it seems eventually they will die.

  • Always look on the bright side, eh?

  • @blue1978 People would have said the same about Thame though, they were out of town for years and now have a great stadium of their own. Surely a town the size of Aylesbury can support two non-league clubs?

  • Come to money , ducks haven't got a penny , the money they make on the gate covers 1st team cost

  • Sir Westy of Stoken is head coach at Thame. The last time him and big Glynn shared a pitch for different sides it ended in fisticuffs.
