Not caring if the national team qualifies for the next two politically and financially suspect fiascos in Russia and Qatar means I will not have to make the effort to watch television drones trying to enthuse about dull poor quality football from so-called elite players. A weight has lifted from my shoulders...

    Russia and Qatar World Cups, will be the first Football sporting events, I will not support unfortunately. Hopefully there will be other Sports to watch and cuddle up on the sofa.

    I'd like to think there is still a chance that Qatar won't go ahead.

    But then I am an optimist.

    How many ex-Wycombe players will be in World Cup squads? Ibe must be in with a chance if he continues his current form, and if England qualify. Anya, Martin (maybe too old?) and Phillips (maybe not good enough?) if Scotland qualify? Any others?

    Human rights in both Countries are appalling and how Gasprom sponsor the Championship League is ridiculous "blood money". I'm going to ignore both events.
