@Right_in_the_Middle I disagree. Saturday was more like a home game and I bet that helped the players.
I'm not disagreeing with the sentiment at all. It certainly helps and is sadly forgotten by the new breed of 'entertain me first' supporters.
All I'm asking is that the term 'the 12th man' is not used to describe something that has needed little description since the early days of football. It's a 21st century marketing term to placate supporters so they forget about being treated like customers by those marketing types.

@Glenactico - think you may need commas before and after "...working in PR..." unless of course you meant despite working in PR. And to think they call me pedantic!
