Re: Man of the Match - Bolton (H)
Definitely not a donkey, but much closer to the "adequate" stand in someone said earlier, rather than any sort of display that'd "show anyone".

Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
Dale Taylor scored for Wigan at home to Shrewsbury, 2-0.
Re: Other Football
Jamal Blackman made his debut for Shrewsbury today. Who had that name on their bingo card of 'getting the old band back together'?

I think we have become a very attractive destination for loanees - fighting for promotion, an up and coming attack-minded manager, a great culture, and a place where loanees tend to get minutes too.
If we lose Morley, Taylor, Vokes, Wheeler, whoever, I still think we are going to get some quality in to replace them.
Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
I thought he was a colossus, that Tottenham game aside.
Arguable which was the biggest "Just kick it out" moment in our league history between that one and the Bloomfield Southend final.
Re: Should they stay or should they go.....
One of my old workmates mentioned that he had heard that Bloomfield was after Arthur Read from Col U. Not sure if that is right or just a rumour.
Re: Reading offer Bearwood training ground to Wycombe
Mrs Wing isn’t going to like Kingston on Hull (not exactly Kingston upon Thames). But Beverley is nice in a parochial East Riding kinda a way.
Re: Changes to financial controls in Leagues One and Two
There is currently no restrictions on what clubs at our level can spend on their academy.
Re: Changes to financial controls in Leagues One and Two
Could be more of an incentive to get promoted this year (or less of a disincentive I suppose) if the League One rules are moving closer to those in place in the Championship
