Re: New Manager Vote
However, our last two managers have been ex-players who were given a chance in our management role. Gaz had a few months experience at QPR and Blooms maybe 6 months at Col U. Both were new to the management game but knew the culture and history of our great club.
With that in mind maybe we could give Sam Vokes a shot at the role. Sam is a very experienced player and already has the respect of all our players and I am sure he is going to be a very good manager in the future.
A risk I know but maybe a short-term contract with a view to extending it if all goes well.
Re: New Manager Vote
You'd know we'd have become a massive club if we start going down the interim manager approach. So we can line up a world class in the summer for the championship campaign and a big to storm straight into the prem.
Re: Rumour Mill
If he has a job in the Summer… Luton are in a precarious position and can’t see Kone and Low staying in L1 if they get relegated especially if we go up.
Re: New Manager Vote
hey guys.....wouldn't it be funny if we got Schumacher in just in time for the visit of the Cobblers?........am I right?
Re: Rumour Mill
We don't now what's going on behind the scenes, perhaps some of the players arent happy, there's no room for sentiment, this is a business you know, he's doing what's best for him and Dan Rice won't let him and if he does let him, he obviously does not want them and it's his club and he can do what he wants so who are we to complain ...I think that's how it goes.
Re: New Manager Vote
Hopefully get some news early this coming week. We can't afford to leave it too long with promotion on the line. Momentum is everything now!
Re: Rumour Mill
If Blooms is the professional we think he is, he won't be tapping up our players
Re: Rumour Mill
As I’ve said before, agents also know about their players’ contracts and will share with interested clubs so they will know all about contractual scenarios!
Re: New Manager Vote
I do like the show of togetherness from the team following the win at Mansfield but there is a small part of me thinking that they were trying too hard with their posts? How come we haven't seen this outcry of support and togetherness before? Or am I just looking at this as a glass half full?
