Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
So he knew nothing about Luton on the Friday despite Mick Harford and Luton coming to Wycombe games for weeks and low and behold the whole football world knew that he had been talking to them and he was going to sign for them by the Monday.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Yeah, I just struggle with the letting people have the floor to make snarky digs about Blooms thing. I always try and have people's back when I think they deserve it.
People can always ignore me too!
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Frankly, given how often he's been mentioned on here lately, I'd happily give the Straw Man the job til the end of the season.
Re: Hanlan loaned to Stevenage
Hanlan may find himself being marked by Alex Hartridge tomorrow.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
think will be a massive mistake...has no experience and a risk not worth taking ...much rather keep Grace...don't hire this coach with no proven record ...so disappointing if this happens
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
The truth is he and Luton knew he was there long before his I only care about Wycombe on the Friday before he left.
Your proof?
Re: Rumour Mill
Given our intentions in the transfer market so far this month, I would expect at the very least another full back, defensive midfielder and attacker, possibly more if anyone else left.
The departures of Butcher and Hanlan have surely been made with the intentions of freeing up squad places.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Definitely agree vs. Johnson or Evatt! It feels like a bit of a gamble, but there is clearly coaching acumen there, and every club is different - Sunderland were a bit underwhelming before he even took over as interim, whereas we are already firing on at least most cylinders! It's not like he needs to reinvent the wheel, and it seems he is a somewhat affable and relatable chap.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Again, the defence to digs stop when the digs stop. Basic logic that some can't seem to wrap their heads around.
