I thought the initial comment from @StrongestTeam was fair enough anyway - GMac is at an age where he can naturally be a bit hot and cold, and had not been in top form. It was amusing for the timing, but definitely a case of hindsight being 20/20 to act as though he was definitely going to save our bacon!
