Re: The manager post Matty Bloomfield?
I think it's genuinely pointless posting random names on here, as there's surely a high chance it'll be some academy coach noone has heard of before.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Though email may be cathartic not sure it will make much difference. As they say Matt chose to leave...they may be happy about it...but they will hardly take any blame for the decision and will look at the Facebook reaction and be quite happy by the sound if it.
Their job now is to placate the majority of the fanbase with continued success...which will apparently make us all forget this...because as we all know football fans never remember anything that happened months or years ago, do they?
Re: The manager post Matty Bloomfield?
So if the suggestion is that the new manager is the assistant at Brentford, another rumour said he was approached a week ago … Seems to contradict the idea that the owners wanted their own man in and were happy to let Matt go. Surely if this was the case they would have had this arranged months ago … let’s just hope they know what they are doing .
Re: Match Day Thread: Beaconsfield (Berks & Bucks Senior Cup)
A decent night at Beaconsfield Ryan Cole looks a real prospect, also thought the number 11 Joe Lawal was superb for Beaconsfield.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Thank you so much for opening our academy, moving us into a new training facility, allowing us to spend funds these past 2 windows and breaking record transfer fees previously set? that would be my email. I get emotions are rather high right now but lets take a step back and look at the good Rice and co have done for our club in such a short space of time

Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
I decided yesterday not to post for a while, due to my deep sadness regarding the situation. But my brief post yesterday made the same point that Eric makes here.
So I am posting my "hear, hear" to this post, and wholeheartedly endorsing the sentiments contained within. Eric is spot on, and I confirm that I for one am "not ok with this" either. I too have gone from sadness, to anger. It's just not right.
That's it. Back to silence for me.
Re: The manager post Matty Bloomfield?
I see Brentford’s “Mr Brentford” mentioned in that interview.
Brentford are so lucky to have Benham, a genuine life long fan at the helm who has worked wonders with the club.
