Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
This speculation about our manager's departure is becoming tedious. He won't leave unless he's sacked or Ipswich lets McKenna go Zzz
Re: Match Day Thread: Poemsmouth
Will the big Dane play?
The Home Office in-tray
we hope will confirm it
by issue of a work permit
Re: Rumour Mill
If they can keep postponing games like the Huddo one, their Jan might not look so bad!
The problem is, when they come to actually play again the estimated 15 points gap might seem intimidating!
Re: Squad strength - January 2025 transfer window
Sadlier was delivering before his injury. Consistent crossing, neat passing, a far more effective wide front man than others maybe with the exception of GMac.
Hanlan has never delivered. He’s never had a rich vein his never been consistent. He’s had a goal v Ipswich that was outstanding and a winner v the horse punchers which was fantastic for the sole reason that it p1ssed off Barton so much.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Blooms will lead us to the Championship and if he copies Ainsworth and loses the first seven games he'll be gone. Lommy has no reason to let a manager who wins games go and Blooms will be too scared to move to a town that has given us Tommy Robinson, Charles Bronson and Andrew Tate.
Re: Match Day Thread: Poemsmouth
Our best season in years
But all we currently hear is fears
Low to go, Kone to go
But Bloomy going would arguably be the biggest blow.
We've brought in some Danish fella
Loads of gasroom blaggers pretending they know he's stellar
I hope they're right
We really need his might
Otherwise the gasroom is gonna be an ugly sight
With glasshalf empty leading the "woe is us" tales
Even though at 2nd in the league the wind should be in our sails.
Midlander speaks with such authority on all things blue
But I can't really recall many situations he's called true
Frequent stander switches between high and low
He tells us his "group" all back his flow
@Shev , @micra and @Wendoverman give us a more grounded feeling
Personally in a sea of ranters, I find them healing.
So on we go to tonizzy
I fancy a Wycombe win. Let's get bizzy!
Re: Match Day Thread: Huddersfield
When you have Kone, for all his hold up play, you want him in the box with crosses coming in. When he is out wide, holds it up, lays it off to Fred and stays there to receive it back again it tends to come to nothing. I think once in the match a quick ball came into the box with Kone centrally placed. Keeper got it. Do it 10 times a game though and he’s going to score or someone else is. Udoh, Lubala, Vokes.
If Sadlier isn’t back soon then wide players who can get a cross in are needed. Sadly this doesn’t seem to be Fred or GMac.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
I love King Kone and Matty...but I still think both having had only half of an excellent season would be a risk for any club to invest in them.
I'm not saying it would not work out for them if someone wanted to take that shot, I think they are both destined for big things, but I would imagine most owners will wait until the end of the full season to see the big picture.
Of course, I would never have signed up Rooney after Birmingham, so I realise I know nothing.

I'm excited to see
Our new signing from Molde
I just pray that this time
The coffee's not cold
