Re: Local Teams Football
If his striking abilities weren’t in question, and even at the level he is playing at vs ours you can’t really question it, then other things might have to be looked at - like your willingness to do a job you aren’t familiar with for the sake of the team. How far was he willing to go for the good of the team over personal glory.
Cos I like to think one of the key aspects of our players and club is/was that anyone of them would play in any position and give it the maximum no matter the circumstances
Re: Will Norris signs
Quality recognises quality…
I do actually have some respect for James, he does seem to be trying his hardest to shine a light on the club, my word there seems to be no editorial control over quality.
Re: Mike Dodds
I think this is the most upvoted post ever on the new gasroom. And deservedly so, useful info. Thanks.
Re: Will Norris signs
Another thing I find really frustrating about the BFP's coverage is that they refer to Wycombe in such a disconnected (?) way. Anyone reading knows we're a 'South Buckinghamshire club'. We have three fairly interchangeable nicknames - that's a godsend to writers looking for options for second mentions. Use them!
Re: You are the Boss! 2025 WWFC Edition.
I sit behind the home dugout and, second half kicking towards the Valley End, Jack's presence and influence is so clear. He wills the team on.
Re: You are the Boss! 2025 WWFC Edition.
Sadlier was our best player before he got injured...
Re: You are the Boss! 2025 WWFC Edition.
Funny how we all see the game differently isn’t it. I can’t fault Cpt. Jacks passion and commitment but see his decision making and skill set as poor (basic passing and ball control). Under the new data driven regime and with the quality recently brought into the building my guess is he won’t be around that long. Sorry.
Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
Cheltenham away, what a brilliant day out that was
Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
Brilliant for him.
Was debating whether to go, didn't in the end, shame really.

Farnborough beat Chesham United 2-1 in the National League South this evening. Farnborough's winner was scored by Olly Pendlebury - remember him?
