Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Yeah, most unlike the Gasroom to wander off topic, isn't it.
Re: New training ground?
For those of you not keeping your ears glued to the floor like me on anything to do with London Irish and Wasps (as a former Wasps season ticket holder), Irish have today been taken out of administration by a consortium including F1s Eddie Jordan. They plan to join the URC league. Quite where they'll play will be interesting, I'd expect them to query Wanderers about sharing as part of the process. But probably end up at Wimbledon or QPR.
If they're going to do things properly and survive they'll need to get their base at Hazelwood tied down ASAP.

Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Can we not just have a dedicated politics thread and leave all the experts to it ?
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
I agree, football provides enough reasons to have heated debates without introducing the even more divisive world of politics.
Re: Other Football
Likewise, I watched quite a bit of the Reading Shrewsbury game. Shrewsbury have definitely improved under Ainsworth and were the better side for most of match. Reading on the other hand looked poor.
Also watched bits of Crawley V Stevenage. Was quite surprised to see the final score, as Stevenage had looked the better of the 2 sides in the parts I saw. Crawley are scoring plenty of goals at the moment, so clearly a tough game for us Saturday.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Couldn’t we just knock down the High Street and build a stadium there?
The last few times I’ve walked down it demolition would probably be the kindest option..:
(And no I’m not being serious)
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Perhaps you should target the people that started the politics on this thread rather than the Tory target!
