Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
Read this and thought you were getting a bit excited about a right back.
Then realised in our flood of signings I've got Reach and Back mixed up!

Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
Slightly surreal watch on a stream with no sound.
But it was either this stream minutes behind, or one closer to real time with sound that kept buffering.
So had to be the former really.
Goalie looks decent on the ball, Lowry definitely looks like he's played before.
Fred unlucky not to put us one up.
Bez not getting much change out of their big centre backs, although Osmajic seemed genuinely surprised that smashing Bez to the floor late on was a foul.

Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
Ravs kicking last season was very good, and it was earlier this season, but quite a few people have noticed his kicking last few months has deserted him a bit, it's been nowhere near as good. I think Norris looks very solid, Lowry has looked OK as well.
Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
You can load up 3 Counties on BBC Sounds, then pause it til you get it synced up to the vision. That's what I've done. Sam Avery always good but the summariser is a school kid.

Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
I really don’t know what Osmajic’s arguing with the ref after the yellow could be other than ‘he’s still walking isn’t he?’

Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
Vokes to make his comeback by coming on to head in the winner?
Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
Completely agree, but he’s probably still playing at his winger weight rather than his lone striker weight. He’s also up against Liam Lindsay who is playing in the middle of a back 3. He’s a man mountain. Lubala won’t win one aerial duel against him all day. I think that’s why Norris is bypassing Lubala (consciously) and going over the top to their goalkeeper. Kone would fare much better, but obviously he’s unavailable. Vokes wouldn’t be able to shift laterally to slow down their build up play, so I agree with the Udoh suggestion. Definitely wouldn’t make any subs hastily here. A good showing so far.
