Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
If people speak their brains, that would explain the idiocy and simplicity of some posts.

Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
I think it’s time to give up the Gasroom now. I am totally fed up with this Blooms v Rice rubbish. People just seem to want to continue this nonsense even though we have a team competing for automatic promotion.
Focus on the positives.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Can only imagine being care taker manager at Sunderland would have been enormously stressful we know how their fans can be as are many of the so called big clubs in the lower leagues. The way the club is currently set up it seems the team playing structure is set from the top , players being identified on data and everyone at the club goes with this plan . So if he is a really good coach and we have this set method it could work well. i’m sure the club can see teams are sussing us out so we need a plan b and c too can he do that or is this is all part of the playing structure .

Re: Match Day Thread: Cambridge
Thankfully, Northampton have gone for a more elaborate and traditional club crest design.
Otherwise, they'd just be giving Posh fans a free hit.
Re: Match Day Thread: Cambridge
It was designed at a time Northampton Town were rumoured to be using the same format
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
We have an unbelievable opportunity this season and feel someone with no experience and does not know the club/,players is a massive risk in my view not worth taking , either go for someone who has experience or stick with Grace as at least he knows the club and players

Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Not getting into predictions as there's nothing to say an experienced manager hits the ground running and everything clicks, and I don't know too much about this guy but he seems well respected, wonder if a Chelsea or Man Utd coach would be greeted more enthusiastically for no particular reason. It's not particularly fun or inspiring but that doesn't matter.
The negatives seem similar to what people were saying about the two Sam's though, no real managerial experience, or experience of taking a team in our position over that finishing line, and if it goes badly for a few weeks will everyone lose their minds and it all spiral away?
He wouldn't be my choice but I see how he fits the model.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
There's a distinction between 'caretaker' and 'interim' imo, the latter tending to be used when you've got someone lined up to come in at a certain date, like Carsley was before Tuchel.

Luke’s a fan at least…
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Someone with experience has also probably failed. Every appointment is a risk, the names banded around have all been generally underwhelming.
