Sorry have to take issue with the ‘far and away’ emphasis of that statement.

Yes, they have been good but I will counter argue that the post-Torquay window that bought us Jj, Sido, Mawson, Paul Hayes and Peter Murphy was our best ever, especially when you consider the context.

I think Hartridge will come good. He's done OK at left back when required and had at least one good game for us (Villa maybe?). I think a little more of a sense of urgency wouldn't go amiss, but no reason why that can't be coached.
