Re: Rumour Mill
Yes but he’d still be worth millions. There is little risk in keeping him until the end of the season.
Re: Man of the Match - Northampton (H)
Refs get so much grief, and it's nice when someone points out something they saw that almost everyone else missed!
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Peter Taylor got us promoted and came to the Berks Agricultural College where a group of us were doing our FA level 2 badges for a Q&A session. Decent bloke in my view.
Re: Rumour Mill
Football is very much in the moment. His stock would drop very quickly if the goals dried up.
Re: Man of the Match - Northampton (H)
I watched it back. Does indeed look like a handball. The player who scored sort of jumped at it sideways and it looks like it went in off his upper arm/tricep area
Great spot from the ref
Re: Rumour Mill
If Kone stays and this time next year has 10+ championship goals he would be worth 20 million or more. A lot of ifs but not inconceivable
Re: Rumour Mill
And if he stays and gets seriously injured or loses form , he may be worth nothing and never get the big wage.
Lets see where this ends up
Re: Rumour Mill
The first half of the season was spectacular. What, with Morley pulling the strings with his great range of passing, Kone scoring more goals than anyone in the division, and club legend Bloomfield holding it all together in the dug-out.
Absolutely no reason why we can't replicate... oh
Just kidding. Maybe the Danes really will be great.
Re: Today...
Christ Leahy has had a shocker here. Loses his man for both goals then misses the pen
Re: Match Day Thread: Barnsley
Just as Northampton at home always means a frustrating draw, Barnsley at home always means a disappointing defeat.
I don’t make the rules.
