Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
FWIW, I largely agree with you. He was treated shitty. The new owners did want him out (as was always likely with new owners of football teams all across the land). Yes, MB deserved more. Yes he should still be manager based on the job he was doing.
But what good is bringing up the same thing every time we lose or draw actually do? If your intent is to sow further dissent and negativity on a forum that has zero affect on actual decision making areas in the club, good job.
The only choice we really have now is to either support the club/team(and therefore leadership) or not.
If it’s the latter, that’s fine. But what is the point in dragging up the same points every time with people that want to do the former, other than to cause arguments?
Re: New signings - what is their fitness like?
Thank you. Exactly the point. Why sign (and I am sorry to pick on the Danes) two players that are not ready to contribute when for the extraordinary amount of money we have spent there are players out there that are ready to hit the ground running?
Re: New signings - what is their fitness like?
They will be able to. But not immediately.
Fingers crossed in some month in the future we look back and say, wow we actually questioned these guys at one point.

Re: New signings - what is their fitness like?
Your details on Reach not quite right.
Previous appearance: 73rd minute substitute - 17th May 2024 - Southampton 3 West Bromwich Albion 1.
Re: New signings - what is their fitness like?
If money is no object then we should have signed Morley, you can’t have it both ways

Re: New signings - what is their fitness like?
Wow that is scary reading having spent all that money on these players. Let us hope someone knows what they are doing as we seem to be going through a poor patch at the moment.
Re: New signings - what is their fitness like?
If someone had told us a few years ago that Wycombe would be top of League One in January and spend a few million in the window on players who don't even make the squad never mind add to the promotion push - who would have believed it?
The notion that they're here for next season seems bit odd. If you have to get the spending out the way this season, why not buy players who are ready to contribute this season too. The idea that these guys are good enough for the Championship but can't help in League One is absurd.

Re: New signings - what is their fitness like?
We've had a lot of draws lately, but only one real defeat. Defensively we are pretty (very) good. It won’t take a huge improvement to start turning the draws into wins, and then it will all look a lot better. We just need one of the new boys to step up and fill the Morley gap. I believe it will happen soon.
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
When Xavier Simmondsohn was asked what attracted him to a club like Wycombe he responded…
”I’ve always wanted to visit Madame Tussauds”
