Crawley were much more physically aggressive than I remember them but l’m far from convinced that we weren’t the initiators in that respect. Hard to believe that the substitutions were left so late. Not sure that Sam Vokes brief appearance qualifies as a green shoot and to describe Gideon Kodua as not being League 2 promotion standard is nonsense. He has shown loads of potential in his few cameo appearances and deserved to get far more than 10 minutes. Fred was getting nowhere.

That looked a sad shadow of the personnel and performances that took us to the top. Very discouraging but let’s hope Mike Dodds is a quick learner.

Yep, we shouldn't make the mistake of saying we were playing champagne football and battering everyone in the latter days of the Bloomy run. The goal wheels had definitely slowed down, with a couple of away game exceptions.

I agree with this . It only confuses me even more as to why we started with the eleven we did today though . We desperately needed to freshen up . Did so ,then we don't play them .

Very harsh, very early, but there's a point in there, if you're prioritising continuing the form and going up I think you get someone in short term maybe who has done that before. If you are concentrating on the youth team and academy you get a youth coach in. I really hope we see some of the new guys and an identity soon, no reason to expect we won't. You can't expect him to come in and copy Blooms notes, selection, training etc.
